Bank of Hawaii celebrated the reopening of its newly renovated KTA Pū‘āinakō Branch on Monday, advancing the bank’s investment in Hawaii Island communities with its third Branch of Tomorrow transformation in just three months. 

In September 2021, Bank of Hawaii announced its endorsement partnerships with 8 of Hawaii’s student-athletes. One year later, the number has grown fivefold, and today Bank of Hawaii announces its continued investment in athletes by entering into endorsement partnerships with 42 college student-athletes.

Today, Bank of Hawaii announces that it is partnering with Greenlight® Financial Technology, Inc., the fintech company on a mission to help parents raise financially smart kids. Through the Greenlight for Banks program, Bank of Hawaii customers will have free access to Greenlight’s award-winning family finance app designed to help parents teach their children smart money management.

Bank of Hawaii marked another milestone with the blessing of its two newest Branches of Tomorrow, one in Ka‘ū on Nov. 3 and the other in Kona on Nov. 10.

This is the second Branch of Tomorrow on Hawaii Island.

Patrick McGuirk has been promoted to vice chair and chief administrative officer from senior executive vice president, chief general counsel and corporate secretary at Bank of Hawaii and will continue to oversee the following divisions of the bank: Legal, Legal & Custody, Corporate Secretary, Corporate Insurance Services, Corporate Security, Corporate Real Estate & Facilities, Corporate Communications, Enterprise Strategic Sourcing, and Investor Relations.

Chief People Officer Sharlene R. Ginoza-Lee has been promoted to senior executive vice president from executive vice president. She continues to lead and provide oversight for all areas of Bank of Hawaii’s People Services division, including compensation and benefits, learning development programs, talent acquisition, operations, culture and employee experience.
