Bank of Hawaii Celebrates 11th Branch of Tomorrow with Grand Opening for New Mililani Branch

HONOLULU, HAWAII

March 22nd, 2021

Bank of Hawaii marked the opening of its new Mililani Branch with a traditional Hawaiian blessing on Monday, March 22 before the branch opened at 8 a.m.

Bank of Hawaii has been serving the Mililani community for over 50 years, since opening its first branch in May 1970. The new Mililani Branch represents a continued commitment to the bank’s Branch of Tomorrow format, with this newest branch in a central location within Mililani Town. Bank of Hawaii closed its previous Mililani Branch located in Mililani Shopping Center on Friday, March 19.

The new 4,162-square-foot Mililani Branch was built with the same systems in place across our branch network to keep employees and customers safe throughout the pandemic and beyond, including enhanced air quality systems with upgraded air filters. Additional safety precautions such as temperature scanners, sneeze guards and signage to help customers physically distance is also in place.

Mililani Branch is Bank of Hawaii’s eleventh Branch of Tomorrow. New features include improved energy efficiencies and offer upgraded technology, a flexible floor plan, a Teller Bar, Bank Lanai with easy-deposit ATMs accessible 24 hours per day, free Wi-Fi and private meeting spaces, allowing branch staff to provide more personal service while meeting physical distancing requirements. Mililani Branch displays signature artwork, including the four main Hawaiian star lines in framed shadowboxes, by Curate Décor & Design. Translations of “Mililani” refer to “look skyward” or “exalted” as well as to praise and give thanks.

The new branch is open six days a week and offers a variety of banking services conveniently located in The Town Center of Mililani.
