Senior Executive Vice President Taryn Salmon has been promoted to vice chair and chief information & operations officer at Bank of Hawaii. In her newly expanded role, Salmon will oversee Enterprise Operations, Information Technology, Strategic Data & Analytics, Information Security, Enterprise Operational Excellence, Digital Banking, Business Continuity, and the bank’s Enterprise Project Management Office.

Bank of Hawaii Corp. (NYSE: BOH) announced that its board of directors has elected Suzanne P. Vares-Lum to serve on its board of directors, effective May 26, 2023, until the annual election of directors at the bank’s next annual shareholders meeting.

Bank of Hawaii has announced that it will close all branch operations today, Tuesday, Oct. 10 ChST on Guam due to Tropical Storm Bolaven. The bank’s Hagatna and Harmon Branches on Guam and its Gualo Rai Branch on Saipan will remain temporarily closed starting Tuesday until further notice, as the storm continues on a path toward the Marianas and is expected to continue increasing in strength.
