Bank of Hawaii Promotes Three to Vice Presidents: Reid Hinaga, Davin Nakasato and Chantell Smeisser

HONOLULU, HI – Reid Hinaga has been promoted from assistant vice president and Keeaumoku branch manager to vice president and Keeaumoku branch manager, where he is responsible for the branch’s day-to-day operations and overall sales performance and customer service. Hinaga graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and human resources, and has been with the bank since 2006. He serves as vice president of the Honolulu Zoological Society’s board of directors, and is a board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii-Spalding Clubhouse.
Davin Nakasato has been promoted from assistant vice president to vice president and Waialae-Kahala assistant banking center manager. Nakasato oversees operations and supervises staff for the branch, as well as handles customer service and develops strategies to increase sales performance. He began his career at Bank of Hawaii in 2009 as a business banking officer. Nakasato earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of San Diego.
Chantell Smeisser has been promoted from assistant vice president and Kapolei banking center manager to vice president and Kapolei banking center manager. Her responsibilities include increasing sales performance and building relationships with business owners in the Kapolei area. Since joining the bank in 2006, Smeisser has worked at the Safeway Mililani In-Store Branch, as well as Waimalu, Kalihi, Main Branch, and Kailua locations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and management from the University of San Francisco.
