Crofts Promoted to Vice Chairman at Bank of Hawaii

Honolulu, Hawaii (Oct. 22, 2012) - Sharon Crofts has been promoted to vice chairman of Operations and Technology at Bank of Hawaii from her current position as senior executive vice president of Operations.
Crofts will add responsibility for the bank’s technology operations to her current duties overseeing deposit and loan operations, corporate facilities, cash management and merchant services. She is also a member of the bank’s Managing Committee.

Her depth of experience and extensive banking background has made her an important contributor to our senior management team.”
Crofts joined the bank via Pacific Century Bank, a former Bank of Hawaii subsidiary in California, where she was a senior vice president in charge of Business Banking and Commercial Deposits. In addition to her current responsibilities, Crofts has also served as Bank of Hawaii’s Chief Compliance Officer.
Crofts, who is currently attending the Fuqua School of Business Advanced Management Program at Duke University, has a master’s degree in business administration and bachelor’s degree in marketing from California State University in Fresno, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is a certified treasury professional (CTP), an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) and a member of the Association of Financial Professionals. She began her banking career at First Interstate Bank of California.
She is on the boards of The Institute for Human Services and the American Cancer Society – Hawaii Pacific Chapter.
