Bank of Hawaii Lowers Base Lending Rate

Honolulu, Hawaii (October 31, 2007) - Bank of Hawaii, the principal subsidiary of Bank of Hawaii Corporation (NYSE:BOH), has announced that it will lower its base lending rate to 7.50 percent, down from 7.75 percent, effective Nov. 1, 2007.
Bank of Hawaii’s move follows the rate decrease of one-quarter percent announced Oct. 31, 2007 by the Federal Reserve.
