Bank of Hawaii Celebrates Grand Opening of Largest Branch of Tomorrow in new Pearlridge location

HONOLULU, HAWAII –
Bank of Hawaii celebrated its new Pearlridge Branch with a grand-opening event on Saturday, Jan. 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public was invited to enjoy a wide range of live entertainment from taiko drumming to Roy Sakuma and his ukulele students, food from local restaurants and high school culinary students, activities for keiki and giveaways throughout the day.
The 5,500-square-foot branch is Bank of Hawaii’s largest Branch of Tomorrow thus far. Sixteen employees, including all staff from the former location in Aiea plus three new hires, serve the community at the branch, which is open six days a week for the convenience of its customers.
The Branch of Tomorrow offers a 21st-century banking experience, including easy deposit ATMs, Wi-Fi, tablets and digital screens, to pair greater customer convenience with personal interactions. For more information, please visit www.boh.com/tomorrowbranch.

The new Pearlridge Branch is Bank of Hawaii’s sixth and largest Branch of Tomorrow. Pearl City, which opened in November 2016, was the first branch to incorporate the new Branch of Tomorrow concept, followed by the Hawaii Kai Branch in March, the Kihei Branch in June, the Main Branch in August and the Manoa Branch in December. Additional branch transformations are planned throughout 2018. Bank of Hawaii has 64 branches in Hawaii. The architect for the Pearlridge Branch is Peter Vincent Architects and the contractor is Gateside Construction.
