In June 2021, President Joe Biden signed legislation making Juneteenth National Independence Day a federal holiday. In accordance with Federal holidays that fall on Sundays, Bank of Hawaii branches and offices in the state of Hawaii, Guam and Saipan will be closed the following day, Monday, June 20, 2022.

Bank of Hawaii’s Gualo Rai Branch on Saipan will open today at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 25 ChST, following Super Typhoon Mawar.

American Savings Bank (ASB), Bank of Hawaii (BOH), First Hawaiian Bank (FHB), and Central Pacific Bank (CPB) joined Hawaii Community Lending (HCL), Hawaii’s premier nonprofit community development financial institution, in taking a pledge to provide mortgage forbearances to Maui families impacted by the tragic wildfire disaster.

Bank of Hawaii has been named one of America’s Best Midsize Companies of 2025 by TIME. The bank is one of two Hawaii-based companies—alongside Hawaiian Airlines—to be included among the top 500 companies nationwide on TIME’s second-annual list.

The annual list is based on a survey of employees nationwide.

Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sundays: closed
