Bank of Hawaii Temporarily Expanding Branch Hours

HONOLULU, HAWAII
Kūpuna hour moves to 8 to 9 a.m., Mondays through Fridays

April 14th, 2020

Bank of Hawaii is temporarily expanding its hours for most open branches in the state of Hawaii. Beginning Wednesday, April 15, BOH branches will open an hour earlier Mondays through Fridays in anticipation of increased traffic due to customers who may wish to cash or deposit social security benefit payments and/or economic impact payments from the IRS.

The bank encourages customers to use its online, mobile and ATM options as the best way to complete their banking needs while adhering to social distancing practices. For more information about digital banking, as well as branch updates, please visit: www.boh.com/covid19.

To continue accommodating kūpuna (65 and older), those who are at risk (such as immune-compromised individuals), and their caregivers, most open BOH branches will reserve the first hour of business from 8 to 9 a.m. specifically for this group.

New hours, effective April 15 are:

  • Mondays-Fridays: 8 to 9 a.m. – reserved for kūpuna, people most at risk, and their caregivers.
  • Mondays-Fridays: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – general banking hours
  • Select branches will be open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the first hour (9 to 10 a.m.) reserved for kūpuna (see asterisks below)
