Kimarie Matthews has joined Bank of Hawaii as executive vice president and executive director contact center & customer engagement in the Client Solutions Group. She is responsible for the transformation of the bank’s contact center service experience and providing leadership to define and deliver a cohesive strategy for omni channel servicing across the bank, creating a way for the contact center to provide connectivity for customers across the branch, mobile/digital, and contact center touch points.

With more than 25 years of experience, Matthews brings a wealth of knowledge to BOH having spent the last decade focused on incorporating digital technologies in an evolving contact center. Most recently, she was senior vice president & customer success senior leader with Wells Fargo Bank where she led a 5,000 person contact center in the Consumer & Small Business Customer Service division. In her previous roles at Wells Fargo, Matthews led the “Social Care” program to provide real-time service to customers in social media, launched an AI enhanced service chat channel, and led Market Research and Customer Loyalty Programs for the Virtual Channels Department, to name a few. She spent her early career in product and innovation roles at internet companies before transitioning to an e-commerce position at Bank of America in 2006.

Matthews earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Stanford University, and served on a variety of nonprofit boards in Calif. before relocating to Hawaii.
