Rooted in this place we call home
Our roots in this place run deep. That’s why we are committed to strengthening our island communities through sponsorships, volunteerism, charitable support, board participation, financial education, employee giving and more.
Taking care of our community is an important core value at Bank of Hawaii. Our commitment to community is not just the right thing to do, it is a part of all that we do.
Helping People Live Independent Lives
Bank of Hawaii Foundation returned as the presenting sponsor of the 2019 Goodwill Goes GLAM! The event kicked off with a runway show featuring designs by local designer Anne Namba. Monies raised helps to provide individuals with critical job training and readiness services to the community.
Making Art Accessible
Since 2004, Bank of Hawaii has made it possible for the Honolulu Museum of Art to open its doors to the public free of charge on the third Sunday of every month. The day offers a program of art activities, entertainment and film focused on an exhibition or art principle.
Celebrating Creativity, Individuality and Diversity
Bank of Hawaii is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Honolulu Gay & Lesbian Cultural Foundation’s annual film festival, and to continue working in partnership with the organization that brings creativity, individuality and diversity through film and the arts.
