More About Taj'a
Taj’a Wong is Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager in the Private Banking Group. Taj’a works with her Private Bank clients holistically to help them achieve their financial goals and has a passion for developing client relationships.
Taj’a joined Bank of Hawaii in 2015 starting her career in Personal Banking where she developed a solid relationship with and understanding of various areas of the bank including Private Banking, Trust and Investments to help clients achieve their financial goals. Taj’a also served as a Senior Credit Analyst, reviewing comple credit requests and assisting clients with their commercial lending needs.
In 2017, Taj’a received the Bank’s prestigious “Annual Step-Up to Excellence” award which recognizes one individual from throughout the bank for exceptional client service.
Taj’a is an alumna of Punahou School where she was a three-sport athlete and member of the Varsity Division I Girls Basketball Championship Teams. Taj’a earned her Bachelor’s degree in both English and Communications Studies, with a minor in Conflict Resolution from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and her Master’s in Business Administration.
Prior to joining the Bank, Taj’a worked in corporate litigation, public relations, and non-profit administration in higher education. She is active in the community and has served as coach, teacher and mentor to many student athletes and has been a member of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the Honolulu Chinese Jaycees since 2012.
