Michael Velez is Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager in the Private Banking Group. The Private Banking Group assists high net worth individuals with banking and investment solutions for both personal and business needs. Michael is currently a Financial Services Representative with Bankoh Investment Services, Inc.
Michael is passionate about learning what his clients’ financial priorities are to help them achieve their financial goals with relevant solutions. He began his career at Bank of Hawaii in 2019 as a Senior Relationship Banker in Hawaii Kai.
Before joining the bank, Michael spent over 10 years providing commercial clients with technology solutions while working at a large tech company. He oversaw the transition and implementation of technology solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses. Michael also provided the business community with free workshops to help them better understand how to leverage their technology in the workplace to complement their existing business strategies.
Michael enjoys photography, sailing, and hiking with his wife and two children.
