More About Marissa
Marissa Machida helps individuals and families, at all stages in their lives, manage the complexities of wealth accumulation, preservation and distribution. She actively works with local attorneys, certified public accountants and other professionals to help clients reach their financial goals and objectives.
Marissa is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University, where she received her bachelor’s in television production and business. She continued her studies at California Western School of Law, where she received her juris doctorate degree.
After law school, Marissa served as a law clerk in the First Circuit Probate court, which oversees probate and trust and estate litigation matters and as a deputy prosecuting attorney for Honolulu. Prior to joining Bank of Hawaii, Marissa was in private practice, focusing in the areas of trust and estate litigation and estate planning. Marissa serves on the boards of the Hawaii State Bar Foundation, Read to Me International and NAPABA-Hawaii. She is a recipient of the 2022 American Bankers Association 40 Under 40 in Wealth Management Award and was selected to the Pacific Business News 40 Under 40 Class of 2022.
