We are pleased to introduce Curtis Fessler as our newest team member and resource for our Wealth Management clients. Curtis is a Senior Vice President and Senior Wealth Strategist in the Kalai Services Group. He is passionate about providing advice and education to wealth clients on topics ranging from advanced estate planning strategies, business succession, risk management, philanthropy and more. Focused on working with Bank of Hawaii’s top wealth clients, Curtis is responsible for collaborating with leaders, relationships managers, and bankers to deliver an exceptional client experience. He will also be a key contributor to the development of thought leadership content delivered through our website and client communication pieces.

Curtis comes to Bank of Hawaii with experience that is unique in our market. Prior to joining Bank of Hawaii, he served on the Executive Committee as a Senior Managing Director of a multi-family office consisting exclusively of large, closely-held entrepreneurial families.  Directly serving these families, Curtis was responsible for leading the team of talented experts in addition to the firm’s highly selective growth efforts across the country.   Curtis has also served as Senior Wealth Strategist for a top 25 sized bank where he led the financial planning and strategy efforts within the firm’s southeastern footprint.  In this role, Curtis served as an advocate on behalf of the banks most successful wealth, commercial and corporate clients.

Bank of Hawaii’s commitment to the community resonates with Curtis as can be seen from his prior involvements. Curtis has served as a volunteer and board member for two different chapters of Make-a-Wish in addition to supporting The Hummingbird Project, CK Kindness Project, Habitat for Humanity, Wounded Warrior Project and Suits for Soldiers.

Curtis is a Finance graduate of Auburn University in addition to completing professional education through the University of Chicago Booth College of Business.  Throughout his career, Curtis has held a Series 7, Series 6, Series 65 Series 66 and health and life licenses.  Curtis is a Certified Private Wealth Advisor as well as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor and has earned certificates in the areas of behavioral finance, philanthropic, retirement, business, tax and estate planning.
