More About Joe
Joe Lecocq is Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager in the Private Banking Group. Joe’s unique experience, both in and out of the financial services industry, provides him a distinct skill set which enables him to provide anticipatory, need-based financial solutions to his clients in their personal and business ventures.
Joe began his career at Bank of Hawaii in 2014 as a Personal Banking Officer, providing solution-oriented financial services to his clients. His proficiency in personal finance advanced him to Personal Banking Team Leader, where he served as advocate and mentor to his team for two years. Joe most recently worked as a Senior Commercial Credit Associate in Commercial Banking, where he learned how to best answer the needs of small to medium-sized businesses. During his career at Bank of Hawaii, Joe received the bank’s Annual Step Up to Excellence Award, Chairman’s Circle Award, and is a graduate of the bank’s Pathways to Professional Excellence Program.
Joe attended The George Washington University as an International Business major, and later served four years in the U.S. Navy aboard nuclear aircraft carrier U.S.S. John C. Stennis. Joe’s passion for education, mentorship and financial literacy is the reason behind his years of community service in programs such as Junior Achievement, Teaching Children to Save, Get Smart About Credit, and the UH Shidler College of Business Mentorship Program.
Joe also enjoys boating, drumming, football, and spending quality time with his wife and two children.
