H Nitahara learned the mortgage business as an underwriter while working on the U.S. mainland. Before that, he spent four years living and working in Japan. H has a genuine desire to help his clients fulfill their dreams as well as to contribute to the community in whatever ways he can. He is a member of the board of the Salvation Army Maui, Maui Alzheimer’s Association member, and has a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. H earned a bachelor’s degree in international business management from BYU-Hawaii. He and his wife are the proud parents of six children.
