Bank of Hawaii Appoints New Senior Vice Presidents: Chanbir Dhingra and Kreg A. Gotsch

HONOLULU, HAWAII

October 9th, 2020

Chanbir Dhingra has joined Bank of Hawaii as senior vice president and operational risk & compliance director in the Marketing Division. Dhingra oversees the bank’s operational risk and compliance programs for the Marketing Division’s business areas, including mobile and online, e-commerce, boh.com, and PC Life/Insurance Marketing.

Six Sigma Black Belt™ certified, Dhingra’s extensive work history includes a variety of positions within the financial industry, including governance and controls manager, compliance risk identification and assessment manager, and risk management reporting supervisor at Bank of the West over the span of 10 years. Previously, he worked as client services manager at JPMorgan Chase and contact center unit manager at Bank of America.

Dhingra earned a bachelor of art degree in cognitive science from the University of California at Berkeley.

Kreg A. Gotsch has joined Bank of Hawaii as senior vice president and director of corporate business continuity. He is responsible for creating, executing and maintaining the Corporate Business Continuity program for Bank of Hawaii to ensure effective and efficient emergency response, disaster recovery and business resumption across all bank locations in Hawaii and the West Pacific region.

Gotsch is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) with over 17 years of experience with a focus in business resilience and recovery in response to critical events impacting employees, operations, brand and reputation. Prior to joining Bank of Hawaii, Gotsch worked as senior business continuity manager for General Atomics in San Diego, Calif., for five years. Previously, he worked at industry-leading companies, including Thermo Fisher Scientific and AMN Healthcare Inc., also in California, as well as Theorem, a healthcare and drug research organization in Pennsylvania.

Gotsch earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Penn State University, and a graduate certificate in emergency management and continuity planning from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
