Bank of Hawaii Celebrates Grand Opening of First Branch Kiosk at Kahala Mall

Bank of Hawaii celebrated the opening of its first branch kiosk in Kahala Mall with a traditional blessing on Monday, Oct. 21 at 9:30 a.m. The very first branch of its kind for the bank, the four-teller Bank of Hawaii Kahala Mall Kiosk, located between Longs Drugs and Macy’s, provides even more banking options for customers with its accessible location and extended hours.

The BOH kiosk will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and brings its Branch of Tomorrow experience to the Kahala Mall. With two digital screens, a consultation area to meet with clients one-on-one, Wi-Fi, and its nearby easy-deposit ATM, the Bank of Hawaii Kahala Mall Kiosk gives customers access to a variety of banking services conveniently located where they shop, dine and play.

Along with BOH’s temporary Waialae-Kahala Branch located steps away on the first floor of the Kahala Office Building, the BOH Kahala Mall Kiosk offers additional banking services while the bank’s Waialae-Kahala Branch is being renovated. The contractor for the Kahala Mall Kiosk is Cornair, Inc.

Branch of Tomorrow
BOH’s Pearl City Branch, which opened in November 2016, was the first branch to incorporate Bank of Hawaii’s Branch of Tomorrow concept, followed by Hawaii Kai Branch in March 2017, Kihei Branch in June 2017, Main Branch in downtown Honolulu in August 2017, Manoa Branch in December 2017, Pearlridge Branch in January 2018 and Princeville Branch in December 2018. Safeway Kahului In-Store Branch, which opened in its new location in July 2019, was Bank of Hawaii’s first in-store Branch of Tomorrow. Additional branch transformations are planned for the future. Bank of Hawaii has 63 branches in Hawaii.
