Bank of Hawaii Announces New Senior Vice Presidents: Mark Ortiz and Amy Peckinpaugh

Mark Ortiz has joined Bank of Hawaii as senior vice president and director of integrated marketing and customer communications. He oversees the bank’s demand generation and integrated customer engagement programs.
Ortiz has extensive experience in integrated marketing. He has held a number of senior marketing roles in Southern California over the past 25 years, most recently as vice president of global digital marketing for C.R. Laurence Co. Inc. in Los Angeles. While there, he led both internal and external marketing teams to initiate an integrated global digital marketing approach for multiple brands and product lines, and led the digital transformation and change management initiatives for the marketing technology stack. Previously, Ortiz was the head of North American digital marketing for American Honda Motor Co. Inc., where he worked for 25 years.
Ortiz earned a master of business administration degree in marketing from Concordia University Irvine and a bachelor of business administration degree in business finance and business law from California State University, Long Beach.
Amy Peckinpaugh has joined Bank of Hawaii as senior vice president and director of modern workplace solutions. She is responsible for leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and projects to meet business goals and objectives.
Previously, Peckinpaugh was a director for Gartner Inc., a global leader in research and advisory services. She worked for the company for 10 years, driving business development, providing leadership of service delivery, among other responsibilities. Before that, Peckinpaugh was a consultant for Capgemini, a global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation.
Peckinpaugh earned a bachelor of science degree in systems engineering and economics from University of Virginia. She holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
