Bank of Hawaii Announces New Senior Vice Presidents: Kevin Byrne and Jason Mecham

HONOLULU, HAWAII

April 2nd, 2020

Kevin Byrne, IT manager, has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president in Bank of Hawaii’s Information Technology Division. He is responsible for planning, directing and executing all assigned IT activities for the Content & Collaboration Management Department.

Byrne joined the bank in 2013 as SharePoint manager in Information Management Systems Group, and was promoted to vice president and IT manager of Content & Collaboration Management in 2015.

Prior to Bank of Hawaii, Byrne worked for Imageteq Technologies Inc. and Prudential Locations. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Dublin City University in Ireland.

Jason Mecham, IT Service Manager, was promoted from vice president to senior vice president in Bank of Hawaii’s Chief Technology Office.

Mecham joined Bank of Hawaii as vice president and director of IT Service Management in 2017, where he was responsible for transitioning the bank’s IT service delivery model to a customer-focused delivery model focused on service strategy, costs, design and operations.

Before joining Bank of Hawaii, Mecham served as vice president and client relationship manager in Enterprise Technology and Operations for Zions Bancorporation in Salt Lake City, Utah, for 14 years. He also served as operations manager for The Hoehne Group and IT manager for Franklin Covey.

Mecham earned a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis on IT systems from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Utah.
