Bank of Hawaii Announces New Senior Vice President Kyle Sakamoto
HONOLULU, HAWAII

Kyle Sakamoto has joined Bank of Hawaii as senior vice president and senior primary relationship officer in its Maui Commercial Banking Center. He is responsible for the overall management and credit quality of commercial loan portfolios for the bank.
Prior to returning to BOH, Sakamoto held various positions at Central Pacific Bank, including senior vice president and Maui district manager, senior manager of neighbor island commercial banking and senior commercial banking officer. In his previous role at Bank of Hawaii, he served as assistant vice president and commercial banking officer from 1993 to 2001.
Sakamoto earned his bachelor’s of business administration in finance from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. Earlier in his career, he completed the management and commercial lending training program at Bank of Hawaii. Sakamoto serves as director and board treasurer for Maui Adult Day Care Center and is a Maui Economic Development board member. He also sits on the University of Hawaii Maui College Chancellor Advisory Committee.
