A replica of an ancient voyaging or fishing canoe which represents navigation, community, and teamwork as well as a nene goose figurine which represents Hawaii’s state bird are also featured in this piece.

Mililani once a field of sugar cane and pineapple, the essence of this neighborhood is honored in our Aloha Room. We invite you to take in the beautiful art pieces by local artist Marissa Eshima, as we honor the past. Look closer and you will discover a textured pattern that is made up of nene goose feathers connecting us to Bank of Hawaii and this place we call home.
