More About Roger
Roger serves Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Bank of Hawaii, where he leads the firm’s investment management strategy and research across client portfolios. He brings more than 30 years of experience in investment management and research, including over two decades with Bank of Hawaii.
Earlier in his career, he began as a securities analyst in New York City with Sanford C. Bernstein and Smith Barney. Since joining Bank of Hawaii, he has held a range of senior leadership roles within the investment management division, including investment officer, equity mutual fund manager for both value and growth strategies, manager of institutional equity portfolios across growth, core, and value styles of mutual funds, fiduciary investment team manager, and investment services manager, before assuming his current role as Chief Investment Officer. This broad experience underpins his disciplined, research driven approach to portfolio management and his focus on delivering long term outcomes for clients.
Roger holds a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder. He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting from the University of Hawaii.
