Q. What is my discount fee?
A.
The discount fee is for collecting, assessing, approving, processing, and settling your organizations’ payment card transactions. This fee is typically a percentage of the monthly sales amount.

Q. How is a discount fee collected?
A.
At Bank of Hawaii the discount fee is collected on the first of the month for the preceding month’s sales. The fee is deducted automatically each month from your Bank of Hawaii business checking account.
