HONOLULU, HI (Aug. 10, 2013) – Today, more than 150 Bank of Hawaii volunteers partnered to support the restoration and rehabilitation of the He‘eia Fishpond, as a part of National Community Service Day 2013. Volunteers helped to move rock and coral out to the kuapā (fishpond walls), cut and pull out invasive mangrove and limu, and also reconstruct the kuapā.
