More About Johanna
Johanna Tokunaga is Vice President and Relationship Manager in the Private Banking Group. The Private Banking Group assists high net worth individuals with banking and investment solutions for both personal and business needs.
Johanna spent 16 years in San Francisco and Los Angeles working for a large global investments company specializing in Public Finance. She most recently served as Senior Client Service Manager administering trusteeships for municipalities, healthcare, education, utility and multi-family housing projects in California and Hawaii. Prior to her work in California, Johanna worked at Bank of Hawaii for 17 years and held various positions with Merchant Services and Institutional Fiduciary Services. Johanna works closely with other areas across the bank. Her unique experience allows her to provide a holistic approach to offering wealth management, insurance, tax, estate and financial planning to achieve each client’s financial goals and objectives.
Johanna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Economics with a minor in music from the University of California, at Davis and her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in international business from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Johanna is a flutist and cyclist and is currently serving as a Shidler College of Business Alumni Ambassador and a University of Hawaii Alumni Association volunteer.
