More About Edison
Edison Kobayashi is Vice President and Relationship Manager in the Kālai Services Group. He assists high net worth clients with banking and credit needs as well as provides wealth management solutions. He works closely with local attorneys, certified public accountants (CPAs), and other professionals to help clients reach their financial goals and objectives. Edison joined Bank of Hawaii in 1992 as part of the credit training program. He then worked as a business banking officer. Prior to Bank of Hawaii, he worked at a bank in Japan developing computer simulation models to analyze their investment strategies.
Edison received a master of business administration degree in finance and financial markets from Columbia Business School. He received a bachelor of science degree in computer science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Edison holds a Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS) designation with Cannon Financial Institute. Because of his work experience in Japan and having completed a Japan-focused management program for the Japan-America Institute of Management Science at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, he is conversant in Japanese.
