More About Edison
Edison Kobayashi is Vice President and Relationship Manager in the Kālai Services Group. He is a problem solver. Edison provides wealth management solutions to meet the complex needs of high net worth clients to grow, preserve and distribute wealth. Edison joined Bank of Hawaii in 1992 as part of the Management Training Program. He then worked as a Commercial Banking Officer servicing the needs of small to medium size businesses. Edison has over 20 years of experience in Private Banking and Wealth Management. Prior to Bank of Hawaii, he worked for the Industrial Bank of Japan where he developed computer simulation models to analyze investment strategies of the bank.
Edison received his Master of Business Administration from Columbia University and Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. He also graduated from the Japan-America Institute of Management Science at the University of Hawaii and is conversant in Japanese. Edison is Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS) with Canon Financial Institute.
Edison enjoys spending time with his two boys who are avid basketball players and fans. He enjoys traveling with his family to attend baseball, basketball and football sporting events and loves visiting Japan to eat “toro” sushi all day.
