Atsushi Hasegawa is a Business Relationship Manager in the International Client Group with over 32 years of experience in the financial service industry. The International Client Group offers a wide variety of banking products and services specifically tailored to international clientele. With a unique understanding of the financial needs and cultures of non-resident clients, the International Client Group provides guidance for personal and business financial goals with deposit, investment, and loan solutions. Based in Tokyo, Atsushi manages Bank of Hawaii’s relationship with SMBC Trust Bank and is responsible for establishing relationships with business partners in Japan.
Atsushi has been involved in various banking and securities business roles during his 25-year career. He began his career at a United States-based bank and was in charge of servicing institutional clients as Executive Director of Derivatives and Fixed Income Sales. Atsushi then moved to a large Australian financial institution, where he served as the Director of Financial Institution coverage and Correspondent Banking Sales, covering all financial institution clients in Japan, including megabanks, regional banks and securities firms.
Atsushi graduated Aoyama Gakuin University with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
