Mobile Deposit

With Mobile Deposit, you can deposit your checks at your convenience, whether you’re out and about or relaxing at home.

Sign, Snap and Deposit

Making a deposit can be done in a few simple steps:

  1. Sign the back of your check and add "For BOH Mobile Deposit Only" above your signature.
  2. Snap pictures of the front and back of your check.
  3. Select your deposit account and enter the amount.
  4. Send your deposit!

Once you receive an email confirmation that your deposit was "Approved," you may go ahead and destroy the check.

Requirements and Restrictions

  • Eligibility: Consumer Deposit Accounts opened for 30 days and determined to be in good standing, excluding American Samoa.
  • Standard Limits: $2,500 per check, $2,500 per day (no limit on the number of checks); deposit up to $5,000 per rolling 20 business days.
  • Private Banking Limits: $25,000 per check, $25,000 per day; deposit up to $50,000 per rolling 20 business days.+
  • Up to $1,000 will be available on the next business day; the remaining balance available after the 2nd business day.
  • Same day deposits must be made by 4 PM Hawaii Standard Time.
  • Device must have a rear-facing camera with auto focus to use Mobile Deposit service.

    +For customers with an established Private Banking relationship. The Private Banking limit may take up to 5 business days following the first successful Mobile Deposit. Should the Private Banking relationship be terminated, the standard limits in effect at that time will be restored.

*Mobile banking is free to all e-Bankoh Online Banking customers. An internet-enabled device is required to access the e-Bankoh Mobile Banking App and/or Browser.

You must be enrolled in e-Bankoh Online Banking to access mobile banking. Enrollment in e-Bankoh Bill Pay is required to access any bill payment services on mobile banking; a monthly Bill Pay fee may apply. Standard data usage fees apply.
