Bank of Hawaii Promotes Ken Niimura to Senior Vice President

HONOLULU, HAWAII –
Ken Niimura has been promoted to senior vice president and international private banking manager in The Private Bank at Bank of Hawaii. Niimura will continue to cultivate strong relationships and opportunities primarily with Japanese-speaking clients and manage the International Client Banking Group, which provides financial services to private and personal banking clients.
Niimura joined Bank of Hawaii in 2015 as vice president and has since brought a unique perspective and growth strategy to The Private Bank. Prior to Bank of Hawaii, he worked at Central Pacific Bank as vice president and assistant manager of its International Banking department. He also served as president of Obun Hawaii Inc. and chief marketing officer for H&U Inc. and The Pacific Bridge Companies. For nine years, he was president and chief operating officer for Ito En U.S.A. Inc. in Honolulu.
Niimura graduated from Tokyo City University, earning his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He earned his master’s degree in business administration from University of Southern California. He is an executive board member for Hawaii Senior Life Enrichment Association and a member of HAPA Young Leaders.
