Bank of Hawaii Announces New Vice Presidents: Abe and Idolor-Callangan

HONOLULU, HAWAII –
Lianne Abe has been promoted from assistant vice president and training center manager to vice president and branch process, systems and desktop procedures manager at the bank’s Training & Support Center. She is responsible for overseeing electronic applications and systems used by the entire branch network to ensure operational processes and compliance requirements are met.
Abe joined the bank in 1998 as a consumer sales representative at the Mililani Safeway in-store branch. After more than 12 years of branch manager experience across Oahu, Abe became the training manager in 2014. A graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Abe earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
May Idolor-Callangan has been promoted from assistant vice president and private banking officer to vice president and relationship manager in The Private Bank. She continues her responsibilities in providing wealth management solutions to high net worth clients, helping them manage the changing complexities of accumulating, preserving and distributing wealth at different stages of their lives.
After eight years as a branch manager at the Hawaii USA Federal Credit Union, Idolor-Callangan joined the BOH Private Banking Group in 2005. She earned her MBA in Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University after earning her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
