Bank of Hawaii Hold Groundbreaking for New Pearlridge Branch

Tuesday, July 18, 2017

Groundbreaking ceremonies were held today to mark the beginning of construction for Bank of Hawaii’s new Pearlridge Branch located at 98-1059 Moanalua Road, the former site of the Sizzler restaurant.

The new branch, which replaces its former location at 98-211 Pali Momi Street, is scheduled to be completed in mid-November. The 6,100 square feet branch will be the fifth Branch of Tomorrow concept with a Teller Bar, tablets, drive-thru ATM, Wi-Fi and private meeting spaces for clients.

The architect for Pearlridge Branch is Peter Vincent Architects and the contractor is Gateside Inc.

All 14 bank employees will be transferred to the new location. Pearl City was the first branch to incorporate the new Branch of Tomorrow concept, followed by Hawaii Kai Branch, which opened in March, and Kihei Branch, which opened in June. Bank of Hawaii’s Main Branch is currently under construction, with plans to open in August. Bank of Hawaii has 64 branches in Hawaii.
