Bank of Hawaii Welcomes Hawaii Kai to Its New "Branch of Tomorrow"

HONOLULU, HAWAII –
Bank of Hawaii celebrated its new Hawaii Kai Branch with a grand opening event on Saturday, March 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public was invited to enjoy refreshments and giveaways throughout the morning.
The new 2,200 square-foot branch remains in Koko Marina Center and is now located between Starbucks and Walgreens in the former Radio Shack space. All seven employees from the former location remain with the new branch, which will also now be open on Saturdays, in addition to its regular Monday through Friday operations, providing even more convenience for customers.

The new location allows Bank of Hawaii to implement its new “Branch of Tomorrow” design concept, which includes:
- Wi-Fi for branch customers
- New integrated technology, such as tablets and LED screens
- ATM with easy deposit and Cardless Cash. Cardless Cash is a trademark of FIS.
- Open-floor concept along with more comfortable seating areas to allow tellers to provide a more personal customer experience.
The new Hawaii Kai Branch is Bank of Hawaii’s second “Branch of Tomorrow,” after the newly renovated Pearl City Branch, which opened in November 2016.
