Bank of Hawaii Announces New Vice Presidents: Daniels and Ikeda

HONOLULU, HAWAII – John Daniels has joined the Bank of Hawaii as vice president and senior consumer loan officer in the Dealer Indirect Lending Department. He manages Dealer Consumer Loan Officers who are responsible for loan and lease underwriting.
Prior to joining the bank in February 2016, Daniels had 24 years of financial services experience in both customer service and dealer consumer loans at First Hawaiian Bank. Daniels attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Caron Ikeda joined Bank of Hawaii in January 2016 as vice president and financial planning manager in the Private Banking Division. She works closely with the Trust Division and its personal trust officers, along with the clients and their attorneys and advisors, to provide customized financial and estate planning services.
Prior to joining the bank, Ikeda was an attorney with Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert after serving as a law clerk with the First Circuit Court in Honolulu. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a juris doctor and master of law from the University of Denver, Colorado. Ikeda is currently a member of the Hawaii Estate Planning Council. She is also the former chair, and now a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association’s Probate and Estate Planning, Elder Law and Tax sections.
