Bank of Hawaii Announces New Vice Presidents: Deuprey, Rodriguez and White

HONOLULU, HAWAII– The following Bank of Hawaii employees have been promoted from assistant vice president to vice president. As in-store area and branch managers, they are each responsible for leading a team of branch managers, developing and executing team business plans and monitoring sales and service performance in their respective geographic areas.
Charleen Ganoot Deuprey, Safeway Kapolei in-store area and branch manager, began her career at Bank of Hawaii in 1999, and has held positions as a customer service representative and training specialist. She is a Sacred Hearts Academy alumna, and a 2012 graduate of Bank of Hawaii’s Pathways to Professional Excellence, a development program for future leaders.
Russell Rodriguez, KTA Puainako in-store area and branch manager, joined Bank of Hawaii in 2008 as a consumer banking representative at the Safeway Mililani in-store branch. Rodriguez earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Hawaii-Manoa, and is a student advisor for Junior Achievement of Hawaii.
Virgie M. White, Safeway Beretania in-store area and branch manager, began her career at Bank of Hawaii in 2003 as an accounting assistant for the Mortgage Accounting and Servicing Department. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in accounting from Colorado Tech. Prior to joining Bank of Hawaii, Virgie worked in accounting at NextSource, in Kapolei, and in the treasury department for AT&T in Washington.
