Bank of Hawaii Opens New Branch in Kaneohe Safeway Nov. 10

Honolulu, Hawaii (November 10, 2008) - Bank of Hawaii opens its newest branch on Nov. 10 in the Safeway in Kaneohe. Located at 46-065 Kamehameha Highway, the 362-square foot facility will be the bank’s 73rd branch in Hawaii and the seventh branch in a Safeway store.
The public is invited to the grand opening festivities on Sat., Nov. 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a grand prize drawing to win a $500 Safeway gift card, along with free food and refreshments, fun for the keiki, balloon artists, face painting, and giveaways.
Jill F. Shimokawa Higa, Bank of Hawaii executive vice president and Hawaii Branch Division manager, said, “As part of our partnership with Safeway Stores, this is a great opportunity to serve the families and residents of Kaneohe and the greater Windward district. In addition to our Kaneohe branch located down the street on Kamehameha Highway, this new in-store branch will make it even more convenient for customers by allowing them to do their banking while they shop.”
The branch will offer banking services including:
- Teller service
- Checking, savings and time deposit products
- Two 24-hour Bank of Hawaii ATMs
- Home Equity line/loan, Personal Flexline, and credit card applications
- Business Hours: Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Saturday - Sunday 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
