Bank of Hawaii Promotes Kim to Executive Vice President

Honolulu, Hawaii (September 8, 2008) - Edward C. S. Kim has been promoted to executive vice president from senior vice president of the Consumer Lending Department.
His responsibilities include oversight of the bank’s consumer lending division which includes development and management of the bank’s direct consumer lending products, and consumer collection and recovery.
Kim started his career with Bank of Hawaii as a management associate in 1990. Since then, he has held a variety of positions including credit analyst, business banking officer, assistant branch manager and loan administrator, collection and recovery manager and consumer lending manager.
Kim earned his bachelor’s degree in international business administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is also an honors graduate of the Consumer Bankers Association’s Graduate School of Retail Bank Management.
Kim currently serves as a director for The Kids Dream (TKD) of Hawaii, a non-profit organization which assists youth athletes.
