Bank of Hawaii Expanding ATM Network At Aloha Petroleum Stations

Honolulu, Hawaii (July 14, 2008) - Bank of Hawaii and Aloha Petroleum, Ltd. announced today they have agreed to expand the bank’s ATM network to include 31 Aloha Petroleum Island Mini-Mart company gasoline stations. Installation of the new Bank of Hawaii ATMs will begin in August.
“Convenience. That is what this will mean to Bank of Hawaii and Aloha Petroleum customers,” said Bob Makahilahila, senior vice president in charge of ATMs for Bank of Hawaii. “Aloha Petroleum is a great partner and we’re excited to expand our service. The new locations will be a good complement to our existing ATM sites.”
“The new Bank of Hawaii ATMs are going to be a tremendous added benefit for our customers on Oahu and the Big Island,” said Richard Parry, Aloha Petroleum president and CEO. “Installation of ATMs at our company-operated Island Mini-Marts and other locations in the future moves us closer to achieving our vision of convenience retailing for our customers.”
Bank of Hawaii has the largest network of ATMs in the state and will now have a total of 417 ATMs throughout Hawaii, American Samoa and West Pacific. Bank of Hawaii is the exclusive ATM provider for McDonald’s, Longs Drugs, Star Markets and Costco. It also provides ATM service for nearly all Safeway Supermarkets statewide.
Aloha Petroleum, Ltd. is an independently owned and locally operated petroleum marketer and distributor and convenience store operator, with a history in Hawaii that dates back to the early 1900s.
