Bank of Hawaii Lowers Base Lending Rate

Honolulu, Hawaii (January 22, 2008) - Bank of Hawaii, the principal subsidiary of Bank of Hawaii Corporation (NYSE:BOH), has announced that it will lower its base lending rate to 6.50 percent, down from 7.25 percent, effective Jan. 23, 2008.
Bank of Hawaii’s move follows the rate decrease of three-quarters of a percent announced Jan. 22, 2008 by the Federal Reserve.
