Bank of Hawaii Lowers Base Lending Rate

Honolulu, Hawaii (September 18, 2007) - Bank of Hawaii, the principal subsidiary of Bank of Hawaii Corporation (NYSE:BOH), has announced that it will lower its base lending rate to 7.75 percent, down from 8.25 percent, effective Sept. 19, 2007.

Bank of Hawaii’s move follows the rate decrease of one-half percent announced Sept. 18, 2007 by the Federal Reserve.
