Bank of Hawaii Announces New Senior Vice Presidents: Fong and Orme

Honolulu, Hawaii (August 29, 2007) - Bonnie W. Fong has been promoted from vice president of Private Client Services sales and marketing to senior vice president of Private Client Services and manager of Personal Trust.  With more than 21 years of experience in the wealth management industry, she oversees the administration of trust, estate settlement and investment agency accounts, and is responsible for managing integrated wealth management teams within Private Client Services, which includes the Personal Trust division.

Fong joined Bank of Hawaii in 1984 and has held various positions within the Private Client Group including business development officer, trust administrator and division sales manager.

Fong earned her bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  She is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Trust School and holds Series 7, 24, 63 securities and Hawaii insurance licenses.

She is a member of the Sales Marketing Executives of Honolulu, Hawaii Estate Planning Council and is a board member of the Hawaii Canoe and Kayak Team and Parent Faculty Association at Punahou School. 

Antony “Tony” M. Orme has been hired as senior vice president of Trust and Private Banking Sales.  His responsibilities include managing overall sales production for the division and overseeing marketing strategies.

Prior to joining Bank of Hawaii, Orme served as the national sales manager for the Wealth Management Division of City National Bank in Beverly Hills, Calif.  In this capacity, he was responsible for the overall new business generation and the management of the sales team in the delivery of the bank’s full array of wealth management services to individuals, businesses, families and foundations throughout Calif. and New York.

Prior to joining City National Bank, Orme was managing director of Knightsbridge Asset Management, LLC. In addition, he has worked for Deutsche Bank’s Private Wealth Management Group, Sanford Bernstein and Fidelity Investments. Orme began his career in sales at the Eastman Kodak Company in Los Angeles. 

Orme holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California, a bachelor's degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and is a graduate of The United States Marine Corps Officers Candidate School in Quantico, Va. He also holds National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses.  He is past chair of the boards of directors for both The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Los Angeles and Concept 7 Services Agency in Orange County. Orme also is an active member of The New Majority, Association for Corporate Growth, The Professional Network Group, Los Angeles Venture Association and The Ritz Brothers Charities.
