Bank of Hawaii Announces New Vice Presidents: Lee, Scott and Subia

Honolulu, Hawaii (March 27, 2007) - Leticia C. Lee has been hired as vice president and portfolio manager in the Business Loan Approval/Portfolio Management Department.  Her responsibilities include loan approvals and portfolio management of business banking loans.

Lee, who is based on Kauai, previously served at Bank of Hawaii as vice president and commercial banking officer and as vice president and senior risk officer.  Her prior experience includes positions as vice president and manager at Bank of America, San Francisco, Calif. and assistant vice president at Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco, Calif., where she completed the bank’s Credit Management Training Program.

Lee holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Yale University and a master of business administration degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. 

She is a member of the Rotary Club of Poipu Beach, Kauai Women Investors, and the Kauai Humane Society.

Carlos “Paris” Scott has been hired as vice president and fiduciary officer for the International Client Banking Department at Bank of Hawaii.  In addition to serving as the department’s compliance officer, Scott will manage off-shore trust vendor operations and administer consumer credit transactions.

Scott’s previous experience includes serving as vice president and branch manager for Citigroup Private Bank in Honolulu, and compliance officer/training director for Citigroup Private Bank Americas in New York, N.Y.  He has also served as a manager and internal auditor for Citibank’s Latin American businesses based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Scott is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools and earned a bachelor of science degree in international business and marketing from New York University, N.Y.

Corazon “Mario” Subia has been hired as vice president and business banking portfolio manager in the Business Loan Approval/Portfolio Management Department.  He will be responsible for managing the division’s business banking portfolio. Prior to joining Bank of Hawaii, Subia served as senior vice president of the secondary market department for Central Pacific Home Loans and vice president and product manager in the product department of Central Pacific Bank.  His previous positions include assistant vice president in the Residential Loan Department and manager in the Consumer Loans Department at City Bank.  Subia has also worked as a wholesale account executive, secondary market coordinator, financial analyst and accounting supervisor at International Savings and Loan Association in Honolulu.

Subia received his bachelor of arts degree in economics/accounting from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

He is a board member of the Filipino Chamber of Commerce.
