Bank of Hawaii Honored as Aloha United Way's Spirit of Community Company of the Year

Honolulu, Hawaii (May 3, 2007) - Bank of Hawaii was honored as “Company of the Year” for Aloha United Way’s Spirit of Community Awards at its 2007 Annual Meeting and Recognition Luncheon held at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel today. Bank of Hawaii employees exceeded their fundraising goal of $500,000 by raising more than $530,000 for Aloha United Way’s 2006 campaign. The 47 different internal fundraisers ranged from shoe-shining services, and personalized Bosses’ Day rose deliveries to stress-buster lomilomi massages and putting contests.
